Anti-reflective eyeglass coating. Many eye care professionals strongly recommend glasses with an anti-reflective (AR) coating. This ultra-thin film, made from zircon and silicon, reduces internal reflections in the lenses. Unlike sunglasses or self-darkening lenses, which block some light, AR-coated glasses actually transmit more light - about 8 percent more. This improves vision at night and helps distinguish fine details during the day. Highway patrol troopers have reported better night and day vision and reduced nighttime glare with AR-coated lenses. Visionary Supplies would like to introduce Sheer Vision. Sheer Vision is a line of superior quality, anti-glare filter glasses for the night driving eyewear market. Our company devoted the necessary time and resources to developing an Anti-Glare Eyewear product that not only does the job, but is the most comfortable and stylish to wear. Here's how we did it...Sheer Vision is an enhanced polycarbonate plastic lens material with a unique coating applied to both the front and back surfaces. The coating creates a unique physical characteristic on the lens that resembles an oily residue or a drop of water in a puddle. This unique coating eliminates the glare while the enhanced polycarbonate material blocks the harmful UV light rays coming from the sun. These UV lights are normally very dangerous to the retina. Not only do Sheer Vision products reduce glare and UV light intake, but our state of the art lenses ALSO reduce headaches that usually are caused by prolonged, unprotected exposure to the persistent onslaught of harmful rays..

I got these because my eyes hurt looking at the headlights driving home from work. Well it turns out my eyes hurt from working on the computer all day! Driving home isn't as bad now that I wear these during work and the ride home. I feel less of a eye strain while using the computer. They should not be labeled as night driving glasses though.

I tried them. They don't seem to help me. Still glares and halos. Not sure what to do now.

I purchased these so called "night driving" glasses for the intention of helping minimizing night glare while driving. After trying them out, I found that they provide little to no help. Their only use appears to be for computer reading as indicated on the manufacturer box. If you're looking for night driving glasses, I urge you not to purchase these because they don't help and you'll just be wasting your money.

I had Lasik surgery several years ago and have perfect vision during the daytime, but at night the lights and glare cause night blindness. The glasses arrived within a week and were in perfect condition. They are very trendy looking, so they look good on me. As far as vision, the difference is minor. There is a slight improvement, but don't expect a miracle. When you first put them on everything seems dimmer but your eyes will adjust and the glares from the light will diminish slightly. Not bad, but don't expect too much.

This glasses offered very good protection, they were also used as computer glasses due to their protective anti-glare coatings on both sides and they were great. The only thing was that the frame can be seen when one is wearing them, so it can get a little bothersome, making it hard to focus on one item at a time.
